The Government of the Republic of Croatia adopted the Draft Regulation on Property Valuation at the session held on 11 June 2014. year. The ordinance on real estate valuation regulates how the value of real estate is assessed, how data is collected, and how it is evaluated for all properties in Croatia, regardless of who owns them, unless a special law specifies otherwise.
The Regulation elaborates on property valuation methods. The aim of this Regulation is to determine the market value of real estate according to uniform methods and procedures, for the purpose of implementing the provisions of the Regulation on Property Valuation.
According to the new regulations, property valuations are carried out exclusively by authorized court experts and authorized court appraisers.
